Blue Ridge Mobile Acupuncture - Davis, CA
Blue Ridge Mobile Acupuncture (BRMA) is a mobile acupuncture, laser and pain management service for small animals. We are based out of Davis, Ca and proudly serve Davis, Woodland, Dixon and surrounding areas. BRMA offers medical acupuncture, cold laser and pain management services to dogs, cats, pocket pets and other exotic pets in the comfort of your own home. We believe in a multi-modal approach to patient care, integrating western medicine with medical acupuncture and therapeutic laser to bring a well-rounded approach to the care of your pet. We work closely with both you and your primary care veterinarian for the best outcome.
Christina Venable-Johnson DVM, cVMA (AKA Dr V) is passionate about providing acupuncture, laser and pain management services for our faithful companions. By providing services in your own home, more time can be spent with you and your pet, which allows for a better assessment of the pet - especially those with chronic pain, chronic illness, lameness or other musculoskeletal disease. Your pet is also less stressed by being in the comfort of their own home vs the hospital.
Dr V started BRMA to provide a special service to enrich the lives of pets by offering a different approach to care - focus on the pet, the human animal bond and to be able to spend time with your pet in their own home.
Dr V has completed certificates in Companion Animal Pain Management through the University of Tennessee and in Medical Acupuncture through the OneHealth SIM program in Colorado. She is currently pursuing additional certification in pain management through the IVAPM (International Veterinary Academy of Pain Management) and in Canine Physical Rehabilitation through the University of Tennessee.
