How did you hone your craft?

I began by taking my own dogs to puppy kindergarten and basic obedience classes. I completed a year-long course of study at Animal Behavior College and worked with a mentor trainer. At the same time I volunteered at a local animal shelter where I could practice my skills on a wide variety of dogs. Upon graduation I started my own business of private dog training. After completing over 300 training hours I became certified by the Certification Council of Professional Dog Trainers (CCPDT).

What tip would you give pet parents for working with animals that you've learned as a pro?

Proper training requires repetition and consistency! You must have patience and work at the dog's pace.

What is one thing you want pet parents to know about you? It can be whatev-fur you'd like!

I am committed to helping pet parents achieve their goals and feel that I go above and beyond the typical level of service in the industry.
