Canine Education and Training
Over 30 years of experience in K9 handing and animal husbandry. I am certified as a Canine Behaviorist and I am specializing in performance dog training and handling. Through my experience as a football coach I have successfully used video to analyze, evaluate, market and educate student-athletes and the coaches the teach them. I implement over-head-digital video to assess students in beginning canine obedience training. It has been my experience that we are all vicarious learners; we learn by watching others. Just as the learning relationship is forged between Master and student the student learns that the most rewarding relationship is between their DOG and theirselves.
It takes 24 consecutive days of detailed work for a HUMAN to create or eliminate a habit. If you want to train your dog to perform obedience, the basics; sit, down, stay, wait, come/here, leave-it. Or, you want to get rid of undesirable behaviors, having a basic understanding of the background in dogs and their inherent traits is a good idea.
We offer: Puppy Kindergarten, Beginning & Advanced Obedience, AKC Canine Good Citizen, AHBA & AKC Herding Trial Performance training and Canine Behavior Rehabilitation to Re-home Program
