What year did you begin serving pets?

How did you hone your craft?

Working with dogs all my life using various methods, I came upon the use of positive reinforcement training about eight years ago, when I started working with service dogs. I was amazed at how quickly dogs were willing to offer behaviors using rewards and pain-free methods versus the old ways. I make it a point to attend as many dog training seminars and learn as much about animal behavior as I can per year.

What tip would you give pet parents for working with animals that you've learned as a pro?

Learning how to properly communicate with your dog is like learning a new language. It takes time, but the rewards are endless. Be patient, take a breath, and listen to your trainer. We are there to help you, not judge. We WANT you to have the best possible relationship with your dog.

What is one thing you want pet parents to know about you? It can be whatev-fur you'd like!

I use, humane, force-, fear-, and pain-free rewards-based training methods using applied behavior analysis to address and solve problem behaviors. Our sessions are minimally stressful for you and your dog, and we have lots of fun!
