How did you hone your craft?

Dana started Chicago Pet Sitters in 2005. At that time, she was working for a magazine out of New York, and had just hired her first dog walking company to care for her own dog. It didn’t take long to figure out that she wanted to focus on spending more time with her pup and saw an opportunity for quality pet care. After a year and a half of essentially working out of her car, she quit her editing job and became a full-time dog walker for Chicago Pet Sitters. Soon after, she hired her first employee, and the rest, as they say, is history.
