Ellen Shapiro - Santa Fe, NM
Animals have feelings too! Their emotional issues are usually simple and easy to clear. My main focus with animals has been with fears/phobias/grief/adjustment/behavior issues through a healing system called Repatterning. I can work locally (I come to you) or by distance.
Other modalities I may use or suggest: Flower essences / Aromatherapy (essential oils) / Reiki energy healing
Any animal can benefit from my work and I've seen some very moving results. I have found that rescued animals often need what I do--there is usually abuse or abandonment in their history.
Reiki is energy healing that can be done in person or by distance for physical and emotional issues. For animals, they usually prefer short treatments, a few minutes, given over 3-5 days, rather than a longer session.
Please contact me to explore whether this work could help your beloved animal companion. Thanks!

What tip would you give pet parents for working with animals that you've learned as a pro?
For difficult behaviors, what possible hidden benefit does the animal get from doing that behavior? (Example, attention, food, being talked to) That is a hint as to something the animal needs that he/she is not getting.
What is one thing you want pet parents to know about you? It can be whatev-fur you'd like!
I have a beautiful rapport with animals, and they usually respond well to the way I work with them and speak with them.
