Epona Chiropractic- for spines of all kinds - San Rafael, CA
I'm Dr. Rachael Knopf, and I love helping pets and their people live life with ease, comfort and connection in body, mind and spirit. I've been a horsewoman for 25 years and a dog guardian for most of my life, and nothing gives me more joy that being able to give back to these animals that have given me so much. Chiropractic care focuses on the spine and joints, using them as a way to interface with the nervous system (which is housed within the spine). Chiropractors find specific areas in the spine (and sometimes joints in other parts of the body) which are not moving correctly through their full normal range of motion. These areas of decreased motion create altered function and interference in the nervous system, thereby limiting the animal (or human's) natural expression of health and of life. Chiropractors are trained to locate these areas and administer a gentle, specific force (known as the "adjustment") to help the joint regain its proper motion, and the nervous system to regain coherence and connection.
