How did you hone your craft?

I really honed my skills by creating adoption photographs of shelter and rescue animals, which is something I still do today. Many of these animals are scared, unsocialized, and completely unsure of their new environment. I was able to help them not only by photographing them, but by giving them my undivided patience, time, and love (oh, and lots of treats!). I have also honed my craft by participating in photography classes and workshops taught by some of the top photographers in the industry.

What is one thing you want pet parents to know about you? It can be whatev-fur you'd like!

I have a lot of patience and have worked with animals of all sizes, types, temperaments, and training levels. Your pet doesn't need to be an obedience star or sit perfectly still to have beautiful portraits created. Capturing our animal family members is so important because they aren't with us as long as we would like. Don't wait to have their portraits created because you're afraid they won't cooperate. I 100% guarantee that you will absolutely love your portraits.
