Dr. Buisson is a Certified Hospice and Palliative Care Veterinarian and Low Stress Handling Certified Silver. She has practiced in home end-of-life care since 2011. Dr. Andrews is Fear Free Certified and is studying Acupuncture at the Chi Institute.

What tip would you give pet parents for working with animals that you've learned as a pro?

Pets don't tend to cry when they are in pain. They change their behavior to avoid pain. If your pet is older, they likely have arthritis but aren't complaining about it. Treat pain early and thoroughly.
