Lee Charles Kelley, Dog Trainer - New York, NY
I've been training dogs in New York City for 30 years, using a unique method which is specifically designed to help dogs with behavioral issues overcome their anxiety and stress (the major cause of all behavioral problems in dogs).
I also offer a puppy training package of three sessions for $300.

How did you hone your craft?
I studied originally with a former colleague of Bash Dibra, but found that the dominance model was mean. So I switched to "positive reinforcement" but found that it wasn't effective in helping dogs with behavioral issues. Then I tested Natural Dog Training, developed by former police dog trainer Kevin Behan, and found it was the best method of training.
What tip would you give pet parents for working with animals that you've learned as a pro?
Play games with your dog, have fun! Don't worry about being "the pack leader!"
What is one thing you want pet parents to know about you? It can be whatev-fur you'd like!
I've written 6 detective novels featuring the character of ex-cop turned dog trainer, Jack Field. Each novel features chapters where dog training takes place.
