How did you hone your craft?

I was lucky enough to support animal rescue by volunteering for over twenty years, learning from every dog I met. I took my formal training (two-year training) in Tellington Touch Techniques and have been a practitioner for more than ten years. My masters degree in education augments my teaching of you and your dog. I continue to stay abreast of best practices.

What tip would you give pet parents for working with animals that you've learned as a pro?

Remember.....your dog is not giving you a hard time......your dog is having a hard time. We can help to decrease reactivity to whatever is bothering your dog to improve your relationship together.

What is one thing you want pet parents to know about you? It can be whatev-fur you'd like!

Our website shares "Pam's Promise" which is that at DoingRightByRescues we recognize that animals and people have different life experiences and expectations, as well as different ways of learning and connecting. We promise to customize your visits to fit you and your dog-no one size fits all for our rescued friends and those who love them dearly!
