Pet Caretaker - Savoy, IL
Hello! I am a full-time veterinary medicine graduate student studying at the University of Illinois in Urbana-Champaign. I grew up on a small hobby farm and have experience in taking care of, handling, and training large and small animals. My experience with animals is anything but limited! On my way to grad school, I shadowed and assisted large and small animal licensed veterinarians, volunteered at large cat sanctuaries and studied abroad in Thailand where I worked with rescue elephants. My summers usually consist of daily barn management, pet sitting and dog walking.
I am naturally quiet-spirited and assertive, so I get along quite well animals. In addition to being a full-time student, I currently help manage and clean a local horse barn. I am willing to work with all breeds and species (although I will admit I am not experienced with reptiles). I follow instructions to every detail, am very reliable, disciplined and time-managed. If ever in need of a sitter, walker, or someone to aid in the general well-being of your pet(s), I would be happy to help!
