How did you hone your craft?

Like you, I work hard so my pets can have a better life. I found pet photography when volunteering in animal rescue more than 10 years ago! Creating images of cats dogs to get them into the homes they deserved became my mission and taught me so much about working with animals with zero training. If I can get a great photo of a rescue dog near me who has maybe even never been on a leash before, I can certainly get images you’ll cherish of your furry loved ones. I remain passionate about animal rescue and in addition to volunteering my time photographing homeless dogs and cats near me, a portion of every session is donated to animals in need.

What tip would you give pet parents for working with animals that you've learned as a pro?

When working with pets, patience is your best friend. I always work at the pet's pace.

What is one thing you want pet parents to know about you? It can be whatev-fur you'd like!

I am mom to 6 dogs, a cat, 4 pigs (inlcuding Hermoine, the House Pig), 2 donkeys, and a horse! I live on a small farm in a tiny town called Rutledge, GA which is also home to the Rescue Ranch, a non profit Boston Terrier Rescue founded in 2014.
