Pets or Wildlife Portraits - Oklahoma City, OK
Commission a pencil or colored pencil drawing or acrylic gouache painting of your favorite animal, or pet.
My artistic style could best be described as whimsical realism with surreal overtones. I am very sensitive to the
uniquely nuanced personalities in the eyes and presence of animals. My goal is to find that special personality of your pet and incorporate it into a portrait for you to enjoy for many years. I am committed to artistic excellence and to your satisfaction.
You will need to send several photos. to catch as many personal details as possible. Be sure to include at least 2 close ups of the face and especially the eyes. Photos taken at eye level of the animal are best. I also request a paragraph or two describing the special personality of the subject of the portrait. I will incorporate this into the expression in the portrait.
I require 50% of the fee up front. When your portrait is near completion I will send you a photo for your approval. The balance of the fee will then be due before the portrait is shipped.
You may see more of my work at http://windandhoney.com You will also find more portrait details at this link. I welcome any questions you might have.
