Reiki River of Peace - Animal Reiki & Pet Loss Grief Care - Olathe, KS - Nationwide
I provide Reiki energy healing services to animals and their caregivers. I have worked with horses, baby cows, dogs and cats. I incorporate Tellington Touch (acupressure) and flower essences to support animals in healing on the physical, emotional, mental and spiritual levels. Many times animals, out of their unconditional love for their caregivers, will attempt to process negative energy/disease and as a result, become sick themselves. This is why I offer Reiki services to caregivers, because in some cases, healing the pet starts with healing the caregiver.
Reiki is completely non-invasive and works well as a complementary therapy with acupuncture and chiropractic as well as with conventional veterinary medicine. It supports the vet's care program for the animal and can help accelerate healing and reduce medication side effects.
I also offer grief counseling and support to caregivers in end-of-life situations, and for animals who have lost an animal or human companion. Reiki can help these animals process their grief and assist them in adjusting to new animals in the household or pen. I serve the greater Kansas City metro area in person within 20 miles of my home in Olathe, and also offer distant/remote Reiki to clients in Colorado, Missouri and other states.

I have worked at animal sanctuaries since 2009, and with horses since 2012, at Zuma's Rescue Ranch in Littleton, at Medicine Horse Program in Boulder, an Equine Assisted Psychotherapy nonprofit, and at Mahaffie Stagecoach Stop & Farm Historic Site in Olathe, KS since 2021.
What tip would you give pet parents for working with animals that you've learned as a pro?
Animals understand the meaning and intention behind your words and they can read what is in your heart. Communicate from the heart and you will get a better response.
What is one thing you want pet parents to know about you? It can be whatev-fur you'd like!
There is no such thing as a "bad" animal. Energy imbalances and current emotional/physical and mental states affect their behavior. Reiki brings balance and harmony to the physical, mental, emotional and physical bodies of animals, healing them on all levels. Reiki is the energy of unconditional love, which I bring to all my work with animals.
