Sensitive Pet Portraits (oil paintings) - Boulder, CO
I've been doing sensitive portraits of pets as part of my Bold Modern Art business for over 10 years. My goal with every oil painting (small or large) is to provide you with a one-of-a-kind work of art. I don't have a formula. I try to approach each painting as if it's my first one. I can paint from your photos or if you are local to the Boulder / Denver area I can visit and take photos. I like to meet the pet if that is possible because it informs me during the design and painting process. I have been a pet owner myself for over 25 years so I understand the close bond we have with our furry friends. My prices start at $400 for 11 x 14 oil paintings and go up to several thousand for large works. (I once did a five dog oil portrait on a 24 x 48 canvas.) Please refer to my website and/or contact me anytime. http://www.mikebrouse.com - navigate to my pet and wild animal collection.
