Which part of the country do you serve pets?

What year did you begin serving pets?

2018 is when I started the business officially. I've been doing this for 10 years

How did you hone your craft?

SARAH S. President; Photographer; Animal Handler, Groomer, & Trainer I set up SS Animal Care & Photography LLC in 2018 to offer the people and pets of Colorado a new life to the world of animal care and to capture the unforgettable memories of a lifetime. I also regularly consult with local veterinarians to make sure that my methods, nutritional, and medical advice are 100% up to date and correct. I take your pet’s health and well being as seriously as humanly possible! SS Animal Care & Photography LLC believes that owning a pet is an amazing and rewarding experience, but also a responsibility, not a luxury. Training your pet properly will lead you to a greater understanding of the animal, and I firmly believe in the owner-pet relationship being one of mutual understanding and respect. I immerse you fully in the training process, and with this holistic approach, I find that owners end up learning as much, if not more, than their pets. Schedule a booking to find out more about my unique approach to training. Dog training and grooming has been a passion of mine for the last 8 years. I have always had a love for all animals. As I began working with animals in my childhood, I learned that I have a way of helping animals feel comfortable and safe. I treat every animal I meet as if it were my own, with love. SS Animal Care & Photography is a two for one deal. You get animal care and photographers. Photography has been in my life my whole life. Every birthday, graduation, and wedding was always captured in a natural way. I don't believe in pictures of fake smiles. Our photographers captures life's beauty in action without having to force a smile. Our photos make you feel what the person in the photo is feeling.   Beyond my business, I have a Bachelor's degree in Biological Sciences with an emphasis in Secondary Education. In short, I am a scientist who shares my love for learning by teaching.   I can't wait to share my passions with you. ~Sarah S.

What tip would you give pet parents for working with animals that you've learned as a pro?

Being patient, consistent, and kind are the best things for a pet.

What is one thing you want pet parents to know about you? It can be whatev-fur you'd like!

I truly care about the animals in my care as much as my own. I listen to what the animal needs. If you are looking for quick fast paced services I'm not your person because those people make mistakes that can cause your Animal to have fearful or aggressive behaviors. I take my time with my clients and make sure they are well cared for and mistakes are far less likely to occur.
