Hello there. We are pet portrait artists based in Brooklyn, New York. We bring your pet to life, with vibrant color and attention to detail. Because your best friend is the best best friend in the world!
Our hand-painted custom watercolor pet portraits are created from photographs you provide and painted on Arches 100% cotton, acid-free, cold press watercolor paper. A perfect gift for any animal lover.
How it works: We will create an original watercolor portrait of your pet from photographs that you send us. The best photos for us to work from are in-focus, close-up, well-lit (especially the eyes!), and express your pet's personality, but we know pets don't always sit still for all of those. Here's a hint: if you have a camera or phone which will shoot a continuous burst of photos you can often find a gem among a lot of misses. Feel free to send us several photos to work from.
Prices for our watercolor portraits of one pet start at $200 for an 8" x 10" painting. We also offer 11" x 14" for $250 and 16" x 20" for $300. You can add a second pet (or even a human!) to your portraits for $75.
Digital photos should be unfiltered, uncropped, and at full resolution. About a week after we approve your photo, we will send a sketch of your painting. Once we have your approval of the sketch, we will begin painting and your portrait will be finished and shipped two weeks from approval. Please contact and book us on Petworks. Thank you.
