Kim Greco, owner of Paws and Possibilities, has been training animals most of her life.
While in high school, Kim was ranked 3rd in the country with her horse, Harbor Bay, who has been mentioned in The Practical Horseman magazine as one of the best hunters to ever step foot in the show ring.
After graduating from the University of Vermont with a Bachelor of Science degree in Biology and a concentration in Psychology, Kim began her professional career as a dolphin trainer. Kim has worked with dolphins, sea lions, seals, penguins, and exotic birds. Spending most of her career at the National Aquarium in Baltimore as a Senior Trainer, Kim helped to teach new trainers and interns how to train dolphins.
In addition to working well with animals, Kim has a natural gift to relate well with people and has the ability to simplify complex ideas and present them in ways that enable people of all skill levels to understand and retain them. These qualities have lead to a successful career working with dog owners.
Paws and Possibilities specializes in teaching people how to train their dog, one paw at a time. Their goal is to assist owners in creating the relationship with their pet they have always dreamed of having. Paws and Possibilities is highly recommended by many veterinarians and has been featured in publications such as the Annapolis newspaper, The Capital Gazette and Chesapeake Magazine. Kim has been interviewed on CBS Radio, WRNR radio, and on Jeff Gellman’s “What Would Jeff Do?” dog training radio show.
Kim is a Certified Dog Trainer (IACP-CDT), a Canine Good Citizen Evaluator, works closely preparing students to pass the Pet Partner’s certification for pet therapy teams of which both of her dogs are certified, and is a member of the International Association of Canine Professionals (IACP).
Kim enjoys spending time with her husband, her two children, and her three step-children. She loves salsa dancing, has competed in several triathlons, reading, and cherishes time spent with good friends!
