My name is Steve Morrell and I am a professional oil portrait artist living in Boulder, Colorado. I've been creating modern, realistic portraits of dogs, horses, and people for nearly 20 years, and I would love to work with you to capture the essence and individuality of your subject.
My portraits are all done in oils using methods established over many years of education as well as my own experimentation. I’ve studied at the School of Visual Arts as well as the legendary Art Students League of New York, and have learned to incorporate the methods of the old masters into my own unique style.
